The other night we cooked an AWESOME mediterranean dinner with Lisa, our sitemate a village over who conveniently loves food as much as we do! Hummus, falafel balls (hard to see, but they're there), breaded/fried eggplant, sauteed onions, fresh tomato and cucumber, fresh bread, and a key lime pie, complete with graham-cracker crust (not with the theme, but so amazingly delicious).

So in Geography were doing a project and we have to pick a kingdom in Africa and i picked Ghana. (my teacher says that that's the kingdom that you guys are in.) i have looked at a couple of your stories from Gambia and looked at i most of the pictures, I was just wondering what is the geography like in Gambia? i am sure as i get along with my project ill have a ton of different questions that hopefully you guys can help me with. Looks like your having a great time! Thanks!

The photos are great and the comments are terrific. We really feel that we have an idea of how your life is going. You're not in Kansas any more! Both of you write very well. Sarah, I can imagine how you felt being told how you should act in your own home! Keep up sending info-we feel better knowing what's happening way out there.
